The installation explores Michel Foucault’s notion of the medical gaze. The work addresses the shift between a neutral listening gaze and a pointing interfering one in the absence of a verbal narrative. On both sides of the table, participants find themselves alternating between the roles of a doctor and a patient. With the aid of a stethoscope, they engage intimately with the doctor-patient onscreen.
