The yawner has been a symbol of the Dutch pharmaceutical branch since the 1700s. This edible yawner invites the audience to enter the exhibition by changing its face through rhythmical light shifts.

A live/video poem about the role of ritual, belief, and control in medicine use. It is inspired by the Dutch yawner tradition and quack salvers’ public performances.
